It will be super middleweight world title fights co headlining this Saturday. The site location will be the Armory in Washington D.C. with Showtime airing the even live. The show will be promoted by Mayweather Promotions.
There has been a lot of talk of a possible unification between Jack and DeGale. The fact is each have formidable foes in front of them first. Bute surprised a lot of people with his performance versus DeGale in his last fight. The fight took place in his hometown but he was still a heavy underdog entering the fight. He turned the clock back and really pushed DeGale. The decision was proper in the end with DeGale deservling retaining his title by decision.
DeGale cannot afford to look past Medina for sure. Medina has faced a lot of top fighters in his career nearly spanning a decade. He is only 27 and seems quite fresh. He opened many eyes with his stunning knockout of unbeaten J leon Love of Mayweather Promotions. DeGale himself looked sharp and strong versus Bute but was tested at times during the fight. The important thing was he won and met the challenge of Bute head on.
If both Bute and DeGale in their fight then the fans are in for quite a treat. The fight would pit two world champions in their primes facing each other. That itself is not something you see so regularly during the course of a year of boxing programming on television. Both fighters seem to want the fight and appears to be a rather easy fight to make. A victory by each fighter Saturday should have us see them fighting each other before 2016 ends.
