What can you say that hasn’t been said about Floyd Mayweather, Jr and Victor Ortiz? Dirty punch? Ugly foul? Justice done? Outright BS? However you feel, at the end of teh day, we lost out on a fight that was just heating up.
I can’t really say that Victor Ortiz is a loser in this. He might get a rematch and he made 2.5 million plus a PPV percentage. But I’ll say it. He’s a loser. How you going to do this
and then come back with this?
C’mon, man! How you gonna kiss a dude on TV after you just head butt him? Makes no sense.
I have to be honest, I think Ortiz was on his way to being the loser when he let this happen at the weigh-in.
I don;t know about you but a dude puts his hands on my neck and he all done. No way I let that happen. From that moment he told Mayweather he could treat him anyway he wanted and it would be all good.
Or Maybe Ortiz lost because of all of these
Victor took these right hands easier than he took that hand to the throat. Defense, dude. Learn it.
I’m not one of those people who thinks what Floyd did is all good. He went up to Victor, sure after getting fouled badly, and set up that final two punch combo. The way I saw it, Floyd let Victor get close, told him it was all good while kinda making sure his hands were down and then he let that combo fly. He made sure the table was set before going for it. That’s just the way I saw it.
A Joe Cortez? Horrible. More like unfair and should be in the infirmary. Retire, dude. Its past time. He looks more shocked than Larry Merchant, who turned out to be the big winner this weekend.
At the proverbial end of the day, it comes down to one thing, the fans got robbed. Maybe Mayweather fans will celebrate the” two-piece ” that Floyd gave Ortiz like they actually accomplished the feat themselves. But to me, this biggets loser this weekend is these people
People bought PPV, threw parties, went to the fight spending tons of money in the process and they got a headbutt, a cheapshot and four rounds of action for their trouble.
But hey, as long as this guy is happy, right?
Right?
