Power Punching super featherweight prospect Joel Diaz Jr (8-0, 7KOs) of Palmdale, California will be a special featured attraction on April 28th when he takes on Russian Georgi Kevlishvili (10-3, 3 KOs) in a scheduled eight round bout. The site of the bout will be the Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort in Chester, West Virginia and be promoted by Roy Jones Jr.’s Square Ring and TNT Sports Promotions. Very good things were being said of Diaz Jr. leading up to his Sho-Box debut this past January against fellow unbeaten Guy Robb. Dropped early in the bout Diaz Jr. stormed back to floor Robb twice in route to a dazzling 7th TKO victory. Kevlishvili himself had his Sho-Box debut in July 2011 dropping a hard fought split decision to unbeaten Casey Ramos. Kevlishvili’s three losses were to opponents who had a combined record of 34-0 at the time he fought them.
