Friday

Mandalay Bay Casino, Las Vegas, NV

Marco Antonio Rubio
Marco Antonio Rubio

Marco Antonio Rubio (52-5-1) vs. Matt Vanda (44-13)

Tito’s Pick: Even though Rubio missed weight, I like the way he punches and moves these days. Give me Rubio by TKO.

The Empire State Plaza Convention Center, Albany, NY

Eudy Bernardo
Eudy Bernardo

Eudy Bernardo (10-0) vs. Darnell Jiles (8-1-1)

Tito’s Jones: Ok this is a home pick. But match-up of styles all considered, Bernardo gets the knock out win.

Saturday

Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, NJ

Showtime

ward froch

Andre Ward (24-0) vs. Carl Froch (28-1)

Tito’s Pick: Fight of the week. Ward has never been beaten as a pro. Froch has gone life and death with Mikkel Kessler and lost a close fight to Andre Dirrell. The Abraham fight was good but it was Arthur Abraham who defined “exposed” in the Super Six. Ward won’t knockout Froch but he will win clearly. Ward UD.

Kell Brook
Kell Brook

Kell Brook (25-0) vs. Luis Galarza (17-2)

Tito’s Jones: Brook should win this one easier than recent fights. This is his US debut so I bet it’s a spectacular knockout.

The WinStar Casino, Thackerville, OK

FOX Sports

Robert Marroquin
Robert Marroquin

Robert Marroquin (20-1) vs. Carlos Valcarcel (12-3-4)

Tito’s Pick:  This is another in the rebuilding process of Robert Marroquin. I expect a knockout late.

Cozumel, Mexico

Librado Andrade
Librado Andrade

Librado Andrade (30-4) vs. Don George (22-1-1)

Tito’s Pick: This is a weird fight. You’d think the younger George would be the favorite but Andrade is at home in Mexico. If he lasts and is competitive, Andrade gets the win. I wonder if George can finish off what is left of Andrade? I say he can’t and gets robbed in Mexico.

Arena Serrano, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico

Team Chavez
Team Chavez

Omar Chavez (27-0-1) vs. Jorge Paez Jr. (29-4-1)

Tito’s Pick: Chavez should pull this one out. As sons of legends go, it is hard to say who is better. Chavez has been brought along slowly and maybe better. I am picking the more consistent Chavez by decision.
