Vitaliy Demyanenko
-
From the town of Almaty, Kazakhstan, comes the son of 1980 Moscow Olympic Games lightweight silver medalist Viktor Demyanenko, Vitaliy. A southpaw with the fluid skills of an American boxer, Vitaliy is a boxer/puncher with power in both hands a raw athleticism.
A pro since 2005, Vitaliy has wasted little time getting into the welterweight title mix. He carried the ABCO Asian Boxing Council welterweight title from 2007-2009 and won the WBO Asia Pacific Welterweight Title in 2006 in what was just his eighth fight. While currently holding that title, Vitaliy also holds the PABA Welterweight Title as well which he won two fights later. Now at 19-0 with 12 knockouts, Vitaliy has the seasoning to go with a high ranking and is ready to make a move on the world stage.
With close to ten defenses of his regional titles, Vitaliy has brought his talents to America with the hopes of breaking through to the upper echelon of the welterweight division. Ranked number 9 by the WBO, it is only a matter of time for the 28 year old to make his mark in the States vs. a top contender.
We here at Boxing 360 are excited to have signed such a promising prospect who not only possesses the background and knowledge to succeed but an exciting style for the fans to enjoy.
